Professional Review

"Impressive aromas of straw, caramel, Shaoxing wine, and banana. On the palate, it tastes sugary like candy and syrup, as well as similar to dessert wine or sweet sherry. It has a high sugar content, so it would be interesting to pair it with after-dinner drinks or desserts. Though it is recommended to drink it at room temperature, serving it on the rocks is also a good choice."

Pairing Suggestion: vanilla ice cream, chocolate, hojicha pudding, Saikyo-yaki, oyster sauce fried vegetables

"The aroma of aged almonds and other aromas are harmonized with woody aromas of bran and cypress, iodine and buttery aromas reminiscent of sea breezes. Even though it is ""freshly squeezed,"" you can sense its maturity after a certain period of time. It has a pleasantly full sweetness, smooth acidity, and a sticky, thick rice flavor. It is recommended to drink it at temperatures between 12 and 45 degrees Celsius with a large sake cup."

Pairing Suggestion: drooling chicken, spicy boiled pork with cucumber, flied food with seaweed, fried lotus root
